In today’s newsletter, I want to give you one tip that is critical to your business success. It’s one thing that all successful people have in common.
The tip is quite simply:
Trust Yourself.
Much of your success in business and in life will depend on your ability to make quick and sound decisions for yourself.
Making a decision can be very difficult for some people. Many would rather not make a decision at all. Instead, they would rather have someone tell them what to do instead of deciding for themselves.
Decision making is like most things in life – the more you do it, the better you get at it.
If ever you’re uncertain as to how your decision might play out, then ask yourself :
What’s the worst that can happen?
Answering this question will give you a point of reference; the worst possible outcome. If you can’t live with the worst possible outcome, then you shouldn’t take that action. It’s pretty simple.
However, if you can live with the worst possible outcome, then that decision is still a possibility for you.
Once you’ve made a decision, stand by it. Don’t live life looking in the rear view mirror saying “would’ve and should’ve“. Don’t second guess yourself.
What if the decision turns out bad?
If you made a decision that did not turn out as expected, look back to see what happened and learn from it. Use that knowledge towards making better decisions in the future.
You’ll likely make a few bad decisions along the way as you learn how to make better decisions.
Be confident in your decision making. This confidence will allow you to act swiftly and will help your business grow at a more rapid pace.
And remember.. the more you practice at making swift, sound decisions for yourself, the better you get at it.
