Do you use exit pop-ups with your mlm lead capture page? If so, how well does it work for you?
Maybe you’re not familiar with an exit pop-up. If not, let me describe it to you..
Let’s say you’re on a lead capture page. You’ve reviewed the page offer. You find that you’re not really interested in the offer so you decide to leave the page. You move your computer mouse towards the top of the browser to navigate away. Now all of a sudden, a pop-up window appears similar to that shown at right.
That is an exit pop-up window.
Sometimes the exit pop is just another attempt for you to opt into the page. Sometimes it is a new offer all together. Instead of an “Add To Cart” button, there might be a “Learn More” button instead that links you to a new lead capture page with a new offer.
Exit pop-ups use “exit-intent” technology. When abandoning visitors are detected, the exit pop-up is triggered to catch an otherwise lost lead.
I find that some people really like and use exit pop-ups on their lead capture page. Others aren’t so crazy about them.
Bottom line: exit pop-ups can help you capture more leads when used strategically on your lead capture page.
So again..
* Do you use exit pop-ups on your lead capture page?
* If so, how well does it work for you?
* Are they helping you capture more leads from abandoning traffic?
Let me know what you think.
