Learn what to tell mlm lead prospects or network marketing lead prospects after they opt into your mlm lead capture page. Tell mlm leads what they want to know to build trust that will close them into your network marketing business.
A couple of weeks ago a client called asking what he should write in his email follow-up once a prospect opted into his mlm lead capture page. After answering the question, it occurred to me that you might have the same question. Hence I’m writing today to answer that question for you.
In answering the distributor’s question, I asked him what he thought he should write to his prospects. His answer was something along the lines of writing about..
- his company; how big it is and how much money it makes
- his company products and the science behind them
- himself; how successful he is and how much money he’s made
After listening to the answer, I advised the distributor to now put himself in the shoes of the prospect. I asked “Now as a prospect, what’s important to you?”
It quickly occurred to the distributor that the mlm lead prospect probably doesn’t care about the distributor’s company, products or personal accomplishments. All the prospect really cares about is about his or herself.. and whether the distributor can help the prospect get what they want out of life.
So as you write your email follow-ups, focus the emails on your prospects. Let them know that you’re a real person and that you can really help them. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there with the focus on them.
I have a list of about 4,000 prospects that subscribe to my mobile ad site www.My247Money.com. In my newsletter, I tell prospects that I put the site up for them so that they could find a real business from home. I tell them that I’ll be writing them often with money-making tips that will help them. I encourage them to call me directly if I can advise them along the way.
My emails always position me as the expert that is willing to help. I am giving them access to my insights and expertise. Readers appreciate that. Lately I’ve been getting phone calls from them daily because those emails have built the trust between us.
If you have trust with your mlm lead prospect, you’re half way to closing!
As you communicate with your prospect, put yourself out there as a resource to prospects. Let them know that you’re willing to help them.
Prospects don’t care about how much you know until they know how much you care.
