This describes high investment leads and high investment mlm leads. Are high investment leads worth the money for your MLM? The answer may surprise you.
What is a high investment lead or high investment mlm lead?
A high investment lead is a lead that has been generated by a prospect filling out an online web form. In completing the web form, the prospect has indicated that they have $1,000 or more to invest in their business.
Should you believe them? Should you believe the prospect when they tell you that they have $1,000 or more to invest?
I don’t.
Let describe why.
Several years ago we had a client that said he was a big ticket program. The client said that his program required $5,000 to start in a business. So the client only wanted to talk to people that said they had $5,000 to invest in a business. He said “don’t send me anyone that does not have $5,000 to invest in a business.”
Clearly this client wanted a high investment lead for his MLM.
Since we were to only send leads of prospects that had $5,000 to invest, that meant that we threw away a lot of data. And that was a lot of data. Not many people said they had $5,000 to invest in their business.
And that also meant we had to charge more money for the high investment lead to make up for leads that we could not sell; those not having $5,000 to invest.
As time went on, we gathered up leads of people that said they didn’t have $5,000 to invest and we sent them to the client. We asked the client to work those leads also and to report to us their prospecting conversion rates. That way we could see how those leads compared to the high investment leads.
And the results?
The results were identical.
The conversion rates were identical between the leads that said they DID HAVE $5,000 to invest, compared to those leads that said they DID NOT HAVE $5,000 to invest.
Identical.
It was then that the client realized that they were paying a premium for a high investment lead that performed just as well as an inexpensive lead.
There are a couple of things I took away from that experience. They are that:
1. Prospects lie.
Prospects don’t lie because they’re bad people or because they’re malicious. They simply don’t want you to know everything about them. And they especially don’t want you to know how much money they have. That way they don’t get taken advantage of.
It is like asking a salesman for a price on an auto or like high ticket item… then to have the salesman reply “what’s your budget?”
Prospects often give MISinformation when answering surveyed questions. They’ll often give enough MISinformation in order to get the form submitted. And this explains why I don’t ask survey questions when generating our leads at www.MLMLeads.com.
2. It’s not about the lead. It’s about you.
Many MLM distributors have the mindset that purchasing expensive, “highly qualified” mlm leads or high investment leads will increase their odds of sponsoring a new distributor. Essentially they’re trying to make up for their inexperience by purchasing a more expensive lead.
Sorry. It doesn’t work that way.
It doesn’t matter the price or whether the lead is a high investment lead. You still have to know HOW to work the lead. You still have to know how to interview a prospect. You still have to find out what’s missing out of the prospect’s life. You still have to demonstrate to the prospect that you’re a person that can lead them out of where they are now… a person that can deliver them to where they want to be in life.
You have to demonstrate to the prospect that you are THAT PERSON.
Once you have demonstrated to the prospect that you can help them get what’s missing out of their life, THEN you’ll truly find out how much money they have to invest.
Until then, they’re just yanking your chain.
Find a motivated person that believes in you and where you’re going… that person will find the monies to get started.
So instead of spending a lot of money of high investment leads or high investment mlm leads, use the Real-Time National MLM Leads instead. You’ll get better results on a lot less money; especially when you consider that you gain immediate access to over $3,997 worth of mlm leads prospecting training with your mlm leads order.

I have tried a lot of different lead companies and all diffrent types of leads. Sorry if you don’t like this comment but ” I believe all lead companies lie and use fillers” so if you buy and call enough of the bad ones the law of averages works for both you and the lead companies. They have a built in excuse for poor performance.
Jerry, in all fairness, you’ve struggled with each and every lead from us and from other lead companies. As I said before, the common theme is you. Knowing that there are very successful people working leads, it would seem that leads can in fact work for people. It’s no different than saying that MLM won’t work when it fact it works very well for some people. Just not you it seems. I would encourage you to seek out coaching. Mike Boggs will be happy to provide you a 20 minute consultation. You can claim it here: http://www.mlmleads.com/order/indexnew.html?cid=44
Not all leads can be winners. They’re leads, not guarantees, right? Interesting article pointing out a several different elements of the lead question. Thanks! Good luck to the above commenter, too!
